MEET

Tom Millar

I’m Tom Millar, the person behind Prince William County Life.

I’m a longtime Northern Virginia resident, a local real estate professional, a Civil Air Patrol pilot, and a business owner with a deep appreciation for the communities that make Prince William County unique. I lead The Lighthouse Team with CENTURY 21 New Millennium, and I have spent more than two decades helping people buy and sell homes across Prince William County and surrounding areas.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping clients navigate moves in Manassas, Manassas Park, Nokesville, Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, Woodbridge, Montclair, Dumfries, Triangle, and beyond. Through that work, I have come to know that real estate is never just about square footage or price. It is also about lifestyle, commute, community, schools, local businesses, recreation, and the character of each area.

That is exactly why this website exists.

What Prince William County Life Is About

Prince William County Life is more than a real estate website. It is a local resource built to help people better understand the community.

On this site, you will find content about:

  • local restaurants, coffee shops, and small businesses
  • family-friendly events and seasonal happenings
  • neighborhoods and community lifestyle
  • moving to and living in Prince William County
  • home buying and home selling insight
  • practical homeowner tips
  • local features, guides, and community stories

Some visitors come here because they are relocating and want to learn about the area. Others are longtime locals who want to stay connected to what is happening around Prince William County. Some are homeowners thinking about a future move. Others simply want trusted local recommendations. My goal is to serve all of those readers with useful, honest, locally informed content.

Why Local Insight Matters

Anyone can search for a home online. What is harder to find is the kind of perspective that helps you understand how an area actually feels.

What is the pace of life in Nokesville compared to Bristow?
Which parts of Prince William County feel more connected to commuter routes?
Where do you find a little more space?
Which communities tend to appeal to buyers looking for convenience, privacy, walkability, or a stronger neighborhood feel?

Those are the kinds of questions that matter in real life, and they are the kinds of questions Prince William County Life is built to help answer.

I believe the best local guidance comes from paying attention to the full picture of a community, not just the real estate statistics.

A Local Guide for Residents, Buyers, and Sellers

If you already live here, I want this site to help you enjoy Prince William County more fully and stay connected to what is happening around you.

If you are considering a move here, I want this site to help you understand the differences between communities, discover local favorites, and get a clearer sense of where you may feel most at home.

If you are preparing to buy or sell a home, I want this site to be a practical starting point for making informed decisions with confidence.

Prince William County is diverse, growing, and full of distinctive communities. No two areas are exactly alike, and that is part of what makes this county such an interesting place to live and work.

A Few More Things About Me

In addition to real estate, my family owns Vita Nova Creatives and Coffee in Nokesville, which has deepened my appreciation for local business and community connection. I am a retired USAF veteran and also active in service and leadership in other parts of life including a local church, the Civil Air Patrol, and the Nokesville Business Association. Those experiences continue to shape the way I approach people, relationships, and the work I do.

At the end of the day, I care about helping people well, telling the truth, and representing Prince William County in a way that is both helpful and accurate.
